CNC machining of medical devices
At present, the precision shaft process parameters are mainly determined based on the production process and the process database. The five axis precision parts processing database is generated through production experiments based on the current production equipment characteristics and other standard conditions. In specific production, minor changes in materials, production equipment, personnel, processes, and environment result in process parameters not being applicable to production.
The precision shaft of precision CNC machining is currently mainly made of 3Cr13 material. Generally, after quenching and tempering, the strength is 500-700HV. The key production process for optical axes is: cable disconnection → heat treatment → tempering → straightening → end face grinding → rolling grinding → inner hole precision grinding → middle rolling grinding → inner hole precision polishing → fine rolling grinding → cleaning → demagnetization → appearance inspection → packaging. The general production process for precision machining of special-shaped shafts is as follows: CNC cutting → heat treatment → tempering → rough rolling grinding → outer diameter precision grinding → outer diameter semi precision polishing → middle rolling grinding → outer diameter precision grinding → fine rolling grinding → ultrasonic cleaning → demagnetization → appearance inspection → packaging.
